PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Wall Screed is an acrylic water-based Putty.

INTENDED USES

For application on rough or uneven concrete interior/exterior surfaces to give a smooth matt finish.

SURFACE PREPARATION

1. Surfaces must be clean, completely dry, and free from all defective or poorly adhering material.
2. All new surfaces must be completely cured before application.
3. Remove all loose material from cracks and open joints.
4. Where necessary, surfaces should be thoroughly rubbed down, using ‘wet flatting’ methods where possible, then wipe off with a damp, lint-free cloth.
5. Ensure that the Screed Filler dries before rainfall when used for external purposes.
6. Allow to dry for a minimum of 24 hours before painting with an appropriate Kings Paint.

NB. All Screed surfaces must be primed with Kings Paint Primer.

APPLICATION

Mixing

Stir thoroughly before use.

Thinning/Cleaning

Use water if necessary.

Method of Application

Screeding trowel / Screeding knife.

Work Stoppages

All unused materials should be stored in tightly closed containers. Partially filled containers may show viscosity increase or skin formation of material after storage.

Product Characteristics

Wall screed is a standard grade putty based on styrene copolymer providing excellent smoothening and filling properties. This product is not intended for use in aggressive, corrosive environments and immersion services. Contains non-lead pigments. Has good adhesion to plaster and cement.

Hazards

No significant hazard.

Handling Requirements

Ensure there is sufficient ventilation of the area. DO NOT handle in confined space.

Storage Conditions

Store in a cool, well-ventilated area. Keep container tightly closed. Store at 27C +/- 2C.
